How to Install E-Card
Installation Instructions for the E-Card
Follow these steps to install and set up your E-card:
Download the Application:
Go to the desired app store (e.g., Google Play Store or Apple App Store) and download the FidesInnova application.
Install and Register:
After installing the FidesInnova application, open it and complete the registration process.
Log in using your newly created account credentials.
Prepare the Device:
Plug in your E-card and ensure the blue LED is on and flashing. This indicates that the device is powered and ready for setup.
Add the Device in the App:
Open the FidesInnova app and navigate to the device page.
Tap the plus sign (+) at the bottom of the screen to add a new device.
Select Device Type:
On the next page, select the type of device you are installing from the provided list.
Enable Bluetooth:
Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
Press the "Next" button in the app to proceed.
Bluetooth Connection:
If there is an issue with the Bluetooth connection, a message will appear with troubleshooting steps.
Ensure your E-card is powered on and within range.
The app will display the name of the device once it is detected. Press the "Connect" button to pair with the device via Bluetooth.
Wi-Fi Configuration:
In the next section of the app, press the "Wi-Fi Search" button to scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
Once the search is complete, a message will appear confirming that the Wi-Fi search has finished.
Connect to Wi-Fi:
From the list of available Wi-Fi networks, select your Wi-Fi and enter the password.
Press the "Set Device Wi-Fi" button to connect the E-card to your Wi-Fi network.
Note: You need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (802.11 a/b/n).
Completion:
After successfully connecting to the Wi-Fi, you will receive a congratulatory message.
Press the "Next" button to be transferred to the device page, where you will see your installed device listed and ready for use.
By following these steps, your E-card should be successfully installed and connected
